Another visit and another reminder that I should just completely leave this place. There's no point just dropping in occasionally, making pointless journal entries, and not updating my gallery. I've never, in my life, drawn anything of interest or consequence, and being yet another talentless DA member in the huge pile of talentless DA members is pretty degrading. Still, I've been here a long time, longer than most, so I can safely say I got here before the REAL avalanche of crap arrived. And, dammit, I have feelings for this place. Deep down feelings.

But coming here again just as I've hit over 6000 views, I think I need to go.

A real reminder of how much time has passed since I started this account came the other day. I saw a girl I knew from sight in high school. She was I think two years above me. And she looked...exactly the same. :/ The same grungy/emo-kid style, the same hair, maybe a few new piercings. And it was kinda sad.

I'm not saying you have to completely overhaul your life once you leave school, but you damn well shouldn't be dressing the same way in your early twenties as you did in your early teens. I don't have a problem with alternative styles, but even THEY need to mature along with the wearer.

Not that my messed up style of today-I-feel-like-a-punk-no-wait-new-romantic is perfect, but I can see, looking back at myself when I was younger, that I have at least changed and recognised fashion faults from the past. And probably still making new ones.

Ah, well.

Look, if you're totes interested in keeping in touch feel free to message me and we can work out what we both share in terms of blog/whatever. Otherwise - well - you're not missing much, tbh.

P.S Fans of MTV's Daria should note that it's FINALLY coming to DVD in 2010. Fuck yeah! Another thing to add to my list of 'things to stay alive for'.
